Ever wanted to visit an archaeological excavation, or meet an archaeologist?

Islay Heritage and the Islay Natural History Trust have organised a summer walk to the Giant’s Grave archaeological excavation. The Giant’s Grave is the largest Neolithic Chambered Cairn on Islay, and is currently undergoing excavation by the University of Reading. The walk will take place on Sunday 28 August at 2pm. Tickets are available for £4 (£2 members of the Islay Natural History Trust), or £10 for a family ticket.

Please wear appropriate footwear, and dress for the weather. Sorry, no dogs allowed.
